DJI Global lead world’s most innovative market

There were some obvious things I wanted to pursue on Aussie soil, some definite ‘no-brainers’ made my list once I decided to move my life from London back to Sydney nearly a year ago.
Water was one. I’m back in that water; swimming and beaching. Sun was another; I’m swimming and beaching around that great un-ozone’d sun of ours.
Keeping up my love/hate relationship with fashion was another. Of course it would need to change a little: Sydney has its own, small and mostly nationally serving market. In short, we do our own thing and don’t really give two hoots what Paris is producing. Riding a bike to the beach in a fur and swimming in a gown isn’t on my island life wish-list – or anyone else’s for that matter. Did I mention the sun? it’s just far too hot for furs and gowns.
I have achieved the obvious things on my list…obviously, but there are some other things that have caught my attention unexpectantly and now, just as NYFW kicks off, I find myself writing about my discovery of drones …. and not fashion week dresses.
My research and Google’time over the past few weeks has been centred around a company called

DJI create innovative, flying and camera stabilisation systems which help people with placement and motion – i.e film makers, photographers, adventurers, (you, me – everyone and anyone with an imagination). DJI focuses on transforming complex technology into easy-to-use devices, an ethos that has captured the attention of the world’s elite, having had them named in the top 10 most innovative companies in 2015 for the consumer electronics market. A market that has an ever increasing following.

DJI products are, in a short space of time, redefining entire industries. Professionals in filmmaking, agriculture, conservation, search and rescue, energy infrastructure, and I’m certain they’ll soon be huge amongst the fashion and lifestyle industries who are continually pushing the envelope. Products range from aerial gimbals to flight controllers to flying platforms and are all specifically designed for ease and technical excellence. Amateurs and professionals alike can use these products, so say bye-bye to pretentious technics and too-hard-to-bother functions.

These products are quickly making what was once impossible, possible and are going places we’ve only ever dreamed about. I guess you could say that discovering these products and this company has also taken me to places I’d never dreamed of – but are now well and truly aware of.

I’m excited to see what the future will look like.
